Why choose us?

Practical hire support from quote to collection.

The booking team confirms the important details up front, including availability, driver rules, mileage, delivery and any specialist vehicle requirements.

Read the booking terms

Free Delivery & Collection

Ask for the hire vehicle to be delivered to and collected from an eligible UK mainland home or workplace address.

The address, access, timing and vehicle must be confirmed. Stations, airports and ports are excluded from standard delivery, as are empty properties where the customer is not registered. Failed, changed or specialist arrangements can incur charges.

Unlimited Rental Mileage

Unlimited mileage is offered on eligible rentals within the stated fair-use policy, so the expected distance and intended use should be declared before booking.

Fair-use and use-specific terms apply. Courier use is prohibited. Tell the booking team the expected mileage and whether the vehicle will be used for another delivery service so any required written acceptance or excess-mile charges are clear before booking.

Entire United Kingdom Coverage

Delivery and collection can be checked for eligible local and long-distance vehicle-hire requests across the UK mainland.

The exact postcode, requested vehicle and date must be checked. Islands and non-mainland movements can require separate arrangements.

European Cover Option

Eligible vehicles may be taken to approved European destinations when permission, insurance and breakdown cover are arranged before departure.

Charges, deposits, documents, vehicle restrictions and country rules apply. One-way hire is limited to UK mainland postcodes, so European one-way hire is not offered.

One Way Vehicle Rental

Selected vehicles can be requested for collection from a different eligible UK mainland location, avoiding an unnecessary return journey.

The start and finish postcodes, vehicle, route and one-way charge must be confirmed before booking. The service is not available for European one-way journeys.

Insurance Is Included

Comprehensive insurance is normally included for eligible named drivers on vehicles up to and including 7.5 tonnes, unless a different arrangement is requested and approved.

Driver approval, excess and exclusions apply. Goods in transit, overhead-height, tyre, windscreen and flood damage are excluded. 18, 26 and 44 tonne vehicles require customer insurance and applicable operator credentials.

Company Own Insurance - 10%

A 10% hire-rate reduction may apply when an acceptable company motor policy provides the required comprehensive cover for the hired vehicle and drivers.

The policy and certificate of insurance must be supplied and approved before delivery, and the customer is responsible for adding the supplied vehicle to the Motor Insurance Database for the hire period. Eligibility depends on the vehicle and proposed use.

Wide Range Available

Compare the representative Hampshire range of cars, vans, minibuses and trucks before asking the booking team to match a vehicle group to the job or journey.

Images and model names describe representative classes. The exact make, model, transmission, body and specification are confirmed for the booking.

Truck Hire across Hampshire

County routes and access to discuss before booking

The suitable vehicle and handover plan can change with the exact entrance, stopping space and onward route. Use these local examples as prompts, then give the team the complete addresses for your journey.

Truck Hire in Alton

Alton station is on Station Road with car parking, bus links and step-free access, so a rail handover should identify the forecourt meeting point. For a journey continuing towards Holybourne and Binsted, include both postcodes and any parking, loading or passenger-access constraint when you call.

Truck Hire in Bishopstoke

Bishopstoke's main road link is the B3037 towards Eastleigh and Fair Oak; the Bishopstoke Road and Chickenhall approaches can be busy at peak times. For a journey continuing towards Eastleigh and Horton Heath, include both postcodes and any parking, loading or passenger-access constraint when you call.

Truck Hire in Chandler's Ford

Fryern Centre, Chestnut Avenue Retail Park and the Chandler's Ford employment areas create distinct retail, staff and equipment journeys rather than one generic town-centre trip. For a journey continuing towards Eastleigh and Chilworth, include both postcodes and any parking, loading or passenger-access constraint when you call.

Truck Hire in Hayling Island

Hayling's seafront car parks and the Portsmouth ferry create different pickup and parking decisions from mainland Portsmouth journeys. For a journey continuing towards Havant and Emsworth, include both postcodes and any parking, loading or passenger-access constraint when you call.

Truck Hire in Horndean

Horndean traffic is shaped by the A3 and B2149 approaches, so peak-time route choice differs from Petersfield's town-centre and station journeys. For a journey continuing towards Rowlands Castle and Clanfield, include both postcodes and any parking, loading or passenger-access constraint when you call.

Truck Hire in New Milton

New Milton station has separate platform entrances, a station car park and local bus connections, which makes the exact handover side worth confirming. For a journey continuing towards Barton on Sea and Hordle, include both postcodes and any parking, loading or passenger-access constraint when you call.

Truck Hire in Portchester

Portchester Park and the Murrills Estate sit on opposite sides of the A27, so trade or equipment journeys should identify the exact business entrance rather than use Portchester as a single stop. For a journey continuing towards Fareham and Portsmouth, include both postcodes and any parking, loading or passenger-access constraint when you call.

Truck Hire in Romsey

Romsey has a town-centre coach drop-off by Broadwater Road and coach parking at Romsey Rapids, useful for minibus and group-journey planning. For a journey continuing towards North Baddesley and Rownhams and Nursling, include both postcodes and any parking, loading or passenger-access constraint when you call.

Truck Hire in Tadley

The A340 is the principal road link between Tadley and Basingstoke, so the full pickup and destination postcodes should be checked before choosing a vehicle. For a journey continuing towards Baughurst and Bramley, include both postcodes and any parking, loading or passenger-access constraint when you call.

Truck Hire in Totton

The A326 is the main Waterside corridor from Totton towards Marchwood, Hythe and Fawley, serving major employment and freight destinations where congestion and access timing can matter. For a journey continuing towards Rownhams and Nursling and Ashurst, include both postcodes and any parking, loading or passenger-access constraint when you call.

Frequently asked questions

Truck Hire questions
Does truck hire require an operator licence?
An operator licence can be required for business use of some commercial vehicles. Personal use may not require one, but the intended use, vehicle weight, driver details and operating arrangements must be confirmed before booking.
How is truck hire mileage handled?
Truck mileage remains subject to the current fair-use and commercial-use terms. Declare the complete operating schedule before booking. Courier use is prohibited. Other delivery-service or high-mileage work requires separate written acceptance and may carry excess-mile charges.
Which truck sizes can be requested?
Typical categories include 3.5 tonne, 7.5 tonne, 18 tonne, 26 tonne and 44 tonne vehicles, subject to availability, licence checks, operator licence requirements and the load being carried.
Booking, cover and general questions
Does the rental cost include insurance?
Comprehensive vehicle insurance is normally included for approved named drivers on vehicles up to and including 7.5 tonnes. Excess and exclusions apply, including goods in transit, overhead-height, tyre, windscreen and flood damage. Customers hiring 18, 26 or 44 tonne vehicles must provide approved company insurance and any required operator credentials.
Are there extra charges for mileage?
Unlimited Rental Mileage is a core benefit subject to the current fair-use terms. Declare the expected distance and intended use before booking. Courier use is prohibited. Other delivery-service or high-mileage journeys require separate written acceptance and may carry excess-mile charges.
Can the vehicle be delivered to a requested location?
Free delivery and collection can be requested for an eligible UK mainland home or workplace address. The address, access, timing and vehicle must be confirmed. Standard delivery excludes stations, airports and ports, plus empty properties where the customer is not registered. Failed, changed or specialist arrangements can incur charges.
Can the vehicle be used in Europe?
European travel must be arranged before the hire begins. The team must confirm the vehicle, destination, permission, insurance, breakdown cover, documents and charges. One-way hire is limited to UK mainland postcodes, so European one-way hire is not offered.
Do you provide one-way vehicle hire?
One-way hire can be requested on selected vehicles between eligible UK mainland postcodes. The start and finish postcodes, vehicle availability and one-way charge must be confirmed before booking. It is not offered for islands or European one-way journeys.
Do you offer zero insurance excess?
No. Zero excess is not offered as standard. A collision damage waiver may be available to reduce the excess liability, and the booking team will explain the options that apply to the selected vehicle.
How can I book?
Bookings are handled by phone. Call the booking team during opening hours with the vehicle type, hire dates, delivery or collection details, driver information and journey requirements.
How much is the deposit?
A no-deposit policy is advertised for most eligible UK hires, but the supplying provider can require a deposit for particular areas, vehicles, driver circumstances or overseas use. The applicable deposit and refund conditions are confirmed before the vehicle is released.
Do I need to refuel the vehicle before return or collection?
Yes. Vehicles should normally be returned with the agreed fuel level. If fuel is missing, the cost can be charged or deducted from the deposit according to the hire terms confirmed before booking.
Can I use a credit card to book?
Credit cards and other business payment methods may be accepted, including corporate purchasing cards and BACS transfer where approved. Some payment methods can be subject to checks before the booking is confirmed.
What details are required to book a vehicle?
The team will need the preferred vehicle or size, hire duration, delivery or collection date and time, driver and additional driver details, contact information, address details and relevant postcodes. If you are unsure which vehicle is suitable, the team can help narrow the options.
What licence requirements apply?
The current general policy requires a valid, in-date driving licence held for at least two years and normally accepts drivers aged 23 to 70, subject to vehicle group, entitlement, points, convictions and insurer approval. Larger minibuses and trucks can require D1, C1 or other entitlement and commercial-use checks.
How modern are the vehicles?
Vehicles are supplied through the rental network and should meet the relevant supplier's maintenance and roadworthiness requirements. Exact make, model, age and specification are confirmed for the booking rather than guaranteed by the website.
Can I hire a GPS or satnav?
No. Satnav units are not currently offered with the rental, so drivers should arrange their own suitable navigation before the journey.
What size vehicle can I drive?
That depends on the licence categories shown on the back of your driving licence and the vehicle's weight or seating capacity. Standard UK category B entitlement usually covers vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes and up to 9 seats, but larger minibuses, trucks and specialist vehicles may need extra entitlement.
