Car Hire in Fleet

At an approved Fleet home or workplace, the vehicle can be delivered and collected free.

The address, access, timing and vehicle must be accepted before handover. Standard service excludes stations, airports and ports, plus empty properties where the customer is not registered. Changed, unsuccessful or specialist visits can carry a charge.

Qualifying car hire rentals include unlimited mileage, with the fair-use terms shown below.

Company rentals are generally limited to 2,800 miles per 28 days, or pro rata for shorter or longer hires. Courier use is prohibited. Other delivery-service or higher-mileage work must be declared and separately accepted in writing; excess-mile charges can apply.

UK mainland car hire coverage can be checked for eligible postcodes, dates and vehicle supply.

Coverage is checked against the full addresses, hire dates, requested group and purpose. Separate arrangements may be needed for islands or any movement beyond the UK mainland.

Prior approval can extend a qualifying hire to Europe with the required insurance and breakdown cover.

European travel needs the approved countries, paperwork, costs, deposit and vehicle conditions recorded in advance. A European one-way rental is not available because one-way hire is restricted to UK mainland postcodes.

Selected vehicles can start and finish at different eligible UK mainland locations.

A one-way booking is conditional on the two mainland addresses, route, vehicle and charge being confirmed. It cannot be used for a European one-way rental.

Comprehensive insurance is normally included for eligible named drivers on vehicles up to and including 7.5 tonnes.

Driver eligibility and an insurance excess apply. Goods carried in the vehicle and damage involving overhead height, tyres, the windscreen or flood are excluded; check every policy term in the quotation.

Approved own-company comprehensive cover can qualify the rental for a 10% rate reduction.

The comprehensive policy and insurance certificate must be accepted before handover. The customer is responsible for registering the supplied vehicle on the Motor Insurance Database throughout the hire.
